open the windows taskmanager

The windows task manager shows running processes and program
on the system. Sometimes, you need to use this to end
a non responsive program. To open task manager,
there are a couple of ways.


Method 1


You can right click on the task bar, there you will find task manager.
Click on it and up it appears.




Method 2


The Ctrl + Alt + Del key combination also brings up the
security options in windows 7 and vista from which
you can select the task manager.
In XP, the task manager comes up directly after pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del




Method 3


The task manager is found in %SystemRoot%\system32\taskmgr.exe.
(this is usually C:\windows\System32\taskmgr.exe)
You can either browse to the folder and open it or
type it in the address bar of an explorer window




Method 4


Another shortcut key to open the task manager is Ctrl + Shift + Esc
