Rename the recycle bin
In this post, I'll show you how to change the name since a "simple right
click and click rename" does not work on your XP. You'll have to edit
the registry, so it's advisable to back up your registry first.
So let's go.
Before the tweak, my desktop was like this:
Open the registry editor (windows key + R, type regedit and press enter)
Once the registry editor is open, browse to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
To the right, double click the item with (Default) as its name
A dialog box appears as shown below. In the field named "value data", type in the name you would like to give to your recycle bin. I used Rubbish Can as shown below.
The last task is for you to refresh on the desktop.
So let's go.
